Heyo peeps I forgot about my blog. so i was just updating my deviant and sad updates there too. I've been working so much I barely have time to breath!!! it seems. I'm just making excuses.

This is my latest piece. "Cool chicks don't look at explosions"
Its been my baby for about..3 months. Finished Sept 1st. More to come. I have commissions rolling in now. I just need more time to do them. so more updates soon!

Oh yes I just started learning Oil. and I love it so much already.. so stay tuned for totally awesome new oil pieces!!

Finished machina ciiity!! I gave this one to my brother. which was hard cuz it was my fav. but also why i gave it to him.

Gave this one to my dad. I felt it would match his decors

this one i gave to muuuummmmy! First self portrait since grade 12!! and in paint this time. lots of fun

WORK IN PROGRESS!!

This is one that i'm working on right now. tried to do a crazy sky. Re did it a couple times. not sure If i like it. too much blue!!

in the middle is a thumbnail of the design that will go on top of the sky and water. Its of an abandoned city for robots. but their was some kind of shock wave that wiped out all the robots and they simply stopped working. most are floating silent in the water. a nice contrast of the silent death these robots experienced with the turmoil of the sky representing their killers. maybe it needs red.. using alot of raw sienna. for the city and the robots.

Some paintings I've done in the past month or so

Decided I would try and learn how to paint clouds since i really had no idea. found some tutorials on deviant and heres is my first attempt! lots of fun! I missed painting.

This was just a drawing I did after watching the Climbing documentary "King Lines" (freaken sweeeet btw) Anyway these rock formations were on the top of this GIANT hill / square mountain thing that is above the cloud lines that is like a secret hideaway for some species of frogs only found here. and just amazing formations that you can climb. reallly beautifull.

I then did this sketch on the rock for a city or civilatization built inside rock structures like this. still working on another drawing for the interior of this. I also just painted it the other day for fun of it. practicing clouds some more too.

I had this idea for an upshot fro inside a rock hole of sorts. I started it in photoshop. got a little annoyed so i transitioned to pencil and then back to photoshop. (still working on the painting part)

Life drawing form Wednesday 15th of april

I went to "Sandy Hill" Life drawing on Wednesday and Gustavo and a woman I'm not sure of's name, but I'm pretty sure I have drawn her before..maybe in school. But either way I loooove GUSTAVO!!!! such a great model!! I mean really. Just fantastic. poses are so classically inspired for a guy with a tattoo on his belly.

It's Been a little since I Updated this bloggoo. So here's some sketches from the ol' sketch booko that I did. working on a few concepts at the moment. and some album art for a band in San-Diego. keep you posted on those cuz their gunna be suuuuper fun!

WOW my first blog entry in a few years. in general, not just here.

I've been through quite a lot in the last 4 months, I moved away from ottawa for a job as a layout artist in sudbury. The job is awesome. i return to ottawa alot to visit my boy toy, i think the trip might become more difficult in the WINTER winter months, the snow has already begun to tease me here in sudbury. I have a sweeet apartment, its huuuuge. and my job is so great! drawing backgrounds!! so much fun. a little stressfull when the storyboards are done terribly. but i seem to catch whatever issues i encounter.

Sudbury has been another issue. the ppl are a bit nutso here. my morning and afternoon walk to work consists of passing hookers and bums alot of the time. i haven't had any issues in my 4 months here. another couple to go.

*nerd alert* Currently i'm working on my halloween costume. since i thought of it late i couldn't order a pristine version of it, so i made it!! er am making it! I just finished the mask tonight. kinda, gotta go buy a piece of a pipe for the mouth of it. its a CYLON costume, the original 1978 battlestar galactica cylon, its the only model that would look better on a person, having been worn by a person in the original series rather than the later cg cylons. alot of work to do before friday! i can't work on it friday cuz im driving back to ottawa in the afternoon.

i'll be posting some art soon! i'm still getting adjusted to my new IMAC! and i wasn't planning on doing this tonight so i left my drive at work :( so tomorrow perhaps!
